Stonefire Grill’s menu features a variety of crowd-pleasing dishes, many prepared on their signature wood-fired grill. Standouts include tender, juicy grilled chicken with a slight char, perfectly paired with garlic mashed potatoes and tangy Caesar salad. The fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs, with their smoky flavor and savory glaze, and the perfectly grilled tri-tip are must-tries for meat lovers. Their crispy, thin-crust pizzas are topped with a variety of fresh ingredients, and comforting pasta options like creamy chicken and penne are flavorful alternatives. Known for their extensive side dishes, favorites include garlic bread and roasted vegetables, which complement the richness of the meats. While Stonefire Grill is best known for savory fare, their desserts, such as chocolate cake and tiramisu, provide a sweet end to the meal that’s worth saving room for.

For several years, Stonefire Grill, Southern California’s beloved fast-casual dining destination known for its generous portions of scratch-made, classic American-inspired dishes, has proudly claimed the day before Thanksgiving as its own “Garlic Mashed Potatoes Day.” This day, now officially recognized by the National Day Archives, celebrates the restaurant’s iconic garlic mashed potatoes, a time-honored family recipe that has become a staple at many holiday tables. CEO David W. Youngberg explains that the day before Thanksgiving has become a tradition at Stonefire Grill, with customers flocking to pick up pre-ordered trays of garlic mashed potatoes, available as either “take and bake” or ready-to-serve. The dish is so beloved that Stonefire Grill uses more than 800,000 pounds of potatoes each year, with nearly 12,000 pounds needed to fulfill Thanksgiving Eve orders alone. The garlic mashed potatoes, perfect for pairing with everything from turkey to grilled veggies, are the ultimate comfort food and a favorite for family gatherings and holidays. With garlic being used for over 5,000 years for its flavor and medicinal benefits, this dish is more than just delicious—it’s a celebration of both taste and tradition.
